How Does Si-Nails Work
?
It is well known that nails contain methionine (1.5 to
2% of dry materials), therefore every nail regeneration
needs the integration of the thiol-SH function.
This -SH group must be labile and reactive.
Mercapto-silanol functions, which are oxide reducing agent
and linking elements, take part in hydrogen (H+) transfer
and the transpeptidation in the formation of keratin chains.
Mercapto-silanol compound brings and helps to insert the
disulphur group (-s-s-) in the keratin peptides with the
formation of new bridges between the peptides.
